all but the 3rd game (if needed). No cap in 3rd game, win by 2 pts...
Player Rules
* You can not shout
or stamp your feet trying to distract your opponent during play...
* If the palm of your hand
is pointing up (towards the ceiling) as in underhand, you
CAN NOT lift up on the ball with your fingers when trying to dink.
This is a lift of the ball...
* You CAN NOT attack
a ball (as in spike or dink) coming from your opponents side
, unless it is in the plane of the net. Plane of net > is the
invisible vertical area directly above the net from antenna to antenna
...
* You CAN block a 3rd hit
on your opponents side of the net but you CAN'T attack it until
it reaches the Plane of the net ...
* You Can block any
opponents ATTACKED ball on their side of the net, on their
1st or 2nd hit IF, the WHOLE ball is higher than the net and that
attack is directed into your court. If in doubt wait till it reaches
the Plane of the net where you can attack or block it legally...
*You CAN NOT block a ball
on the opponents side of the net, on their 1st or 2nd touch, if
there is an opponent attempting to play it unless the whole ball
is higher than the net and it reaches the Plane of the net...
*WINNERS of each match in the playoffs go to the next round, losers are out
of playoffs..
NOTE: We had an incident of a player cursing at a ref last
season.. This kind of incident, (cursing, gestures or intimidation) will
not be condoned and the player will be put out of the match immediately,
the team will forfeit that game, and the player will be suspended
from the match the following week . . .
It doesn't matter if it's a playoff match or a final, you will loose
that game and YOU WILL BE SUSPENDED! The refs do a very good job.
They are there to keep order to the game, so please be civil to
them...
